About

Misti Demko, MEd, LMHC, NCC

If you’ve found your way here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. You're not alone—and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what’s holding you back and help you reconnect with your strengths. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and I tailor therapy to your unique needs using evidence-based approaches like Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). These methods support deep healing, emotional clarity, and long-term change.

Whether you're coping with past experiences, navigating relationship challenges, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, we’ll work together to shift the patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is to help you build resilience, self-compassion, and a renewed sense of hope.

You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported. Let’s take the first step—reach out by phone or email to schedule a free consultation.

I work with children, young adults, and adults who are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, difficulty with self-regulation, trauma, and stress related to school, work, or life transitions. Whether it’s a child feeling overwhelmed at school, a teenager navigating social pressures, a young adult adjusting to independence, or an adult managing the demands of daily life, I provide a safe, supportive space where clients can feel heard and empowered.

My approach is personalized, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—such as trauma-informed care, cognitive and behavioral strategies, and person-centered techniques—to support each client’s unique needs and goals.

Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, a young adult stepping into new responsibilities, or an adult navigating life’s challenges, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Reaching out can feel overwhelming, but it is a powerful first step—and I’m here when you’re ready.
